Is your lens too narrow?

With narrow focus, you tend to reinvent many wheels – you treat every situation as unique. A tight focus may not leave room for others and you miss to understand the needs of those around you. When you are too focused on small things, it can be overpowering.

Ask what really matters to you and focus on that.

Your lens can help or hinder ability to make good decisions. If your lens is too narrow, you risk making everything all about yourself or your team. While it can be helpful to see the fine points, you might be missing the big picture.

Zooming In

Zooming in brings the details into sharp focus. Though it may lack some context, when you zoom in, you see the details in sharp focus – opportunity looks large and compelling – an experience during Go-Go stage on Corporate Lifecycle!
