The teacher will appear when the student is ready to learn.

Regardless of your industry or geography, the world around you is changing more and more quickly. Whether it be the rise and fall of Blockbuster video, or Apple’s passing Blackberry as the number one mobile tech brand, you don’t have to look far to see that nothing remains as constant as change. Gone are the days of “buy and hold” investments. The challenge of today’s managers is to lead a culture that is innovative and change-ready.

Organizations embedding a coaching culture foster superior engagement and performance. It is not guaranteed that everyone can be coached to change or adapt to their organization’s changing needs/objectives. Sometimes a manager and colleagues can see the need for a team member to change/adapt, however that person remains unconvinced.

Determine your coach readiness

It’s not easy for you to change habits or behaviors unless you choose to.
You should have a reason to change.
