Your Purpose in Life

You are hungry for optimizing the performance. As long as you are hungry, you’ll look tirelessly for satisfaction.
For entrepreneurs like you, one success is never enough. You immediately fix your eyes on the next hill.

Fulfilling a purpose is not to be in comfort zone. Once you find purpose in life, you won’t lose courage to face adversity. At the time, you stop comparing with others.

It is an experience of genuine happiness simply by being effective and working on your mission.

I heard what you say – sounds too good to be true!
Yes, that’s because you have not yet looked intentionally for your purpose. And, let me tell you there is no formula for purpose. You know it when you see it.

Tell me, why you do what you do.

  • Money
  • Pride
  • Proving yourself

Or,

  • You imagine that’s what it looks like to be successful
  • You can’t help it (not achieving)
  • You love it
  • You see the sky is the limit when focus on it

Yet, this in itself is not enough for the entrepreneurs like you. You are also responsible for your team finding theirs too.

Create a ‘Purpose environment’ where the corporate identity is strong and clear that  sucks people in with the same purpose and supports them living out every day.

Leaders like often feel your team is less dedicated than you; and get annoyed. You always start thinking of more controls and firmer management.

But, what you missed is that

  • You did not allow the team to complete the homework of preparatory ground work. You are paying the price for it, now.
  • You have not yet created a company with a clear and exciting mission.
  • You have not yet recruited colleagues/senior members who are sincerely turned on by your project
  • Not everyone in the team understands their role and its contribution to the whole

It’s time for you to go back to the drawing board.

If you haven’t already found it, then make this year the year you discover and dare to live out your true purpose – without fear or reservations.

And, make, next year the year you ensure that everyone in your team is able to attain the same outrageously beautiful (and frighteningly productive) state.

Get up and start asking these questions to yourself:

  • When are you happiest
  • Why does that specific activity make you so happy
  • How can you create a business centered around performing the activities that you enjoy the most
  • What is holding you back
  • How do you overcome these challenges, and over the next twelve months create a new framework for yourself that supports you in living out your purpose

Believe me, we at Pathfinders take the first step on clrifiance (clarifying the mission) and share with the team so that they get involved and are clear about directions.

I welcome you to join the discussion. Please let me know your time.
